PRESS RELEASE

The Executive Board for KLTV’s 2009-2010 season was announced at the monthly meeting on May 19, 2009. Joining the Board after being nominated and un-opposed is Keath Huff. Also joining the Board after being successful in an election process is Dr. Rick Still. Mr. Huff and Dr. Still are local businessmen with long histories of being involved with their communities. KLTV is thrilled to welcome both these citizens to our Executive Board.

Stepping down after a successful run as KLTV Board President is Mr. Mark McCrady. Mr. McCrady is a former Longview City Council member, including time served as the Mayor. He is presently an elected member of Cowlitz PUD Commission. “We will greatly miss his dedication, his vision, his leadership and most of all his undying support for the ongoing success of Access Television in Cowlitz County’ stated Barry Verrill, KLTV Executive Director. Mr. Verrill went on to say “Mark spearheaded the search for a new executive, over saw the renovation of KLTV’s facilities and saw the membership numbers nearly double during his tenure as our Board president. He will be greatly missed by our staff, our membership, his fellow Board Directors and most of all the supporters of KLTV”

Also departing from KLTV’s Board of Director ranks are long time Board member Arleen Hubble. Mrs. Hubble has served on KLTV’s Board of Directors for 9 years, acting as Board Secretary for the last several. Arleen is active on several other local non-profit organizations including Go-Fourth and Relay for Life. Her knowledge and dedication to KLTV’s mission will be hard to replace.

The slate for our Executive branch of the Board of Director’s for 2009-10 are as following:

Vice President- Hal Phillips
Treasurer- Brian Magnuson
Secretary- Joe Daggy

Memberships are available through the year and KLTV encourages the citizen’s of Cowlitz County to join, volunteer and produce their own television programs. Our training schedules are listed @ www.kltv.org
